The world premiere of David Rabe’s drama An Early History of Fire is currently electrifying audiences at off-Broadway’s Acorn Theatre, starring Theo Stockman and Claire van der Boom. Set in the midwest in the 1960s, An Early History of Fire centers around Danny (Stockman), a small-town man who discovers The Catcher in the Rye, On the Road and marijuana by way of Karen (van der Boom), who has just returned from college back east.
