Glee star and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying veteran Darren Criss will join his theater company Team StarKid’s APOCALYPTOUR for two performances in Los Angeles and New York. On May 24, Criss will appear with Team StarKid at the House of Blues in Los Angeles, and on June 10, he will reunite with the troupe at New York’s Roseland Ballroom. The national tour kicks off in Chicago on May 9.
In APOCALYPTOUR the StarKids will face-off against the “Mayan God of the Apocalypse” in an epic battle to save the planet. This brand-new concert experience includes songs not included on The Space Tour, as well as fresh arrangements and “mash-ups” of fan favorites from A Very Potter Musical and Sequel, Me and My Dick, Starship and Holy Musical B@man!.
Criss is best known as Blaine Anderson on TV’s Glee. He made his Broadway debut in January 2012 in the revival of How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying. Criss attended University of Michigan’s School of Music, Theater & Dance, where he appeared in college productions of Pride and Prejudice, The Last Days of Judas Iscariot and A Few Good Men. He is a founding member of StarKid Productions theater company, and starred in their YouTube sensation A Very Potter Musical as Harry Potter.
