Broadway’s Newsies are doing more than just selling “papes,” they're making headlines and providing a voice to their young generation of fans. On May 3 the newsboy gang (including Andrew Keenan-Bolger, Ryan Steele and Tommy Bracco) joined star Jeremy Jordan and writer Harvey Fierstein on ABC’s Nightline to discuss the history of Newsies. While the show is set at the turn of the century, the cast discussed how its themes of speaking out for your beliefs still ring true in today's world of Twitter.
