Nominations for the 30th Annual Fred and Estelle Astaire Awards, which recognize outstanding achievement in dance on Broadway, have been announced. Seven cast members from Newsies received nominations (including show stars Jeremy Jordan and Kara Lindsay), in addition to the musical's choreographer Christopher Gatelli. Also among the nominees are Nice Work If You Can Get It stars Kelli O'Hara and Matthew Broderick, Evita leads Elena Roger and Ricky Martin, Hugh Jackman and more. As previously announced Liza Minnelli will receive the Douglas Watt Lifetime Achievement Award at the June 4 ceremony, which will take place at the NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts.
