NBC has ordered Do No Harm, the medical drama featuring Steven Pasquale in dual lead roles, to series, according to Deadline.com. Tony-winning director Michael Mayer, who recently helmed the pilot of Smash, also directed the show's initial episode. The cast also features Tony winner Phylicia Rashad and The Lyons star Michael Esper. No start date has been announced at this time.
Do No Harm is the story of neurosurgeon Jeffrey Kohn (Pasquale), who struggles to keep his alter-ego Ian Price under wraps. Kohn grapples with his dangerous other half as Price threatens to destroy his personal relationships and career. The cast also includes Alana De La Garza, Mousa Kraish and Ruta Gedmintas.
Do No Harm's pilot features a script by David Schulner and is executive produced by Peter Traugott and Rachel Kaplan.
