Glee Plans Second Britney Spears Episode This Fall

Glee is planning a second Britney Spears tribute episode, according to EW.com. Eight Britney songs will dominate the second episode of the fourth season, though unlike the original Britney tribute, the episode will not focus on Heather Morris’ character Brittany. As of now there are no plans for Spears to appear again in the episode. 

The news of a second Britney episode comes the day after FOX’s announcement that Spears will be the newest judge on The X Factor. Glee will also now air on Thursdays following the reality show competition. Glee’s first Britney tribute episode remains one of the highest-rated episodes of the series to date.

Glee also provided details as to the storylines of previously announced season four guest stars Sarah Jessica Parker and Kate Hudson. Hudson’s role will be a musical mentor to Rachel Berry (Lea Michele), while Parker will play a mentor to Kurt (Chris Colfer).
