Jennifer Holliday Joins American Idol's Jessica Sanchez for a Fiery Rendition of 'And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going'

Jessica Sanchez may not have been crowned the champion of American Idol's 11th season on May 23, but the 16-year-old certainly stole the show at the star-studded finale. Before the winner was announced, Sanchez joined Tony winner and original Dreamgirls star Jennifer Holliday on stage for a powerhouse duet of Holliday's signature tune, "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going." The song now has its own connection with Idol as season three contestant Jennifer Hudson won an Oscar for playing Effie in the 2006 Dreamgirls movie, but Sanchez's searing duet (following a rendition that won raves from the judges earlier in the season) proved there's plenty of room for yet another Idol cover of the song. The San Diego teen held her own as she and Holliday wailed passionately in each other's faces. Take a look at the incredible clip below!
