The Eighth Wonder of the World is poised to wreak havoc on the Great White Way as the previously reported musical adaptation of King Kong readies for a Broadway run. The show's director Daniel Kramer recently sat down to reveal some of the magnificent visual effects audiences can expect from the production, which is aiming to bow in 2013. “What happens when you take New York City and then you take King Kong, who has his own language of music?” asked Kramer. “There’s some good old fashion show business right away!” More than just pure action and adventure, the director promises that King Kong will deliver the glitz and glamour one would expect from a Broadway spectacle. “Women are going to see some really hot men onstage and men are going to see some really hot women onstage,” he laughed. “It’s show business. Let’s embrace some of the tradition here." Click below for an enlightening first glimpse at King Kong: The Eighth Wonder of the World.
