The off-Broadway comedy Miss Abigail’s Guide to Dating, Mating and Marriage will play its final performance on June 30 at Downstairs Cabaret Theatre at Sofia’s. Written by Ken Davenport and Sarah Saltzberg and directed by Davenport, the production currently stars Christine Pedi as Abigail and Eddie Gutierrez as Paco. The production will have played 22 preview performances and 396 regular performances at the time of closing.
Based on the book by Abigail Grotke, Miss Abigail’s Guide to Dating, Mating and Marriage is the story of a relationship expert and her sexy sidekick who travel the globe teaching funny how-tos on achieving love. Her advice includes how to have a perfect kiss, what you should and shouldn’t talk about on a date, and how to let a man think he wears the pants.
Miss Abigail opened on October 24, 2010 and originally starred The Brady Bunch's Eve Plumb as the title character. Three's Company's Joyce DeWitt also played Miss Abigail during the run.
