USA has ordered the pilot Graceland, a new drama series by Jeff Eastin (TV’s White Collar), to series according to Deadline.com. Broadway veteran Aaron Tveit and Tony nominee Daniel Sunjata will star as FBI agents who are forced to live in an undercover California beach house alongside agents from U.S. Customs and the Drug Enforcement Agency. No premiere date has been set.
Sunjata stars as Paul Briggs, the house’s senior FBI agent, who had a legendary career, but traded in his suit and tie for a Zen lifestyle. Tveit stars as Mike Warren, an inexperienced FBI agent who has just graduated from the academy. In addition to Sunjata and Tveit, Graceland stars Vanessa Ferlito as Catherine “Charlie” Lopez, Brandon Jay McLaren as Dale Jakes and Manny Montana as Joe “Johnny” Turturro.
Tveit’s Broadway credits include Next to Normal, Wicked, Hairspray and Catch Me If You Can. He will star as Enjolras in the forthcoming Les Miserables film adaptation. His additional film and TV credits include Gossip Girl, Howl, Ghost Town and Girl Walks Into a Bar.
Sunjata earned a Tony nomination for Take Me Out. His additional Broadway credits include Cyrano de Bergerac and Twelfth Night. His film and TV credits include The Devil Wears Prada, All My Children, Rescue Me, Grey’s Anatomy and The Bronx Is Burning.
