Broadway vet Jenna Ushkowitz, who rose to fame as Glee’s Tina Cohen-Chang, will write her first book, Choosing Glee, according to The Hollywood Reporter. St. Martin’s Press has optioned the motivational book exploring Ushkowitz’s success and positive approach to life. The book will include stories about her time on Broadway and secrets from the Glee set. Choosing Glee will be published in the spring of 2013.
“My goal is for you to walk away from this book looking at the world differently than when you started,” Ushkowitz said in a statement. “It's about how to have, do and be anything you want."
Ushkowitz made her Broadway debut in 1996 as a royal child in The King and I. She returned ten years later as an understudy in the Tony-winning rock musical Spring Awakening. The 26-year-old actress has been a part of FOX’s Glee for all of its three seasons.
