Glee will add another big name to its growing roster of A-list guest stars during its fourth season. U.K. pop star Cheryl Cole will make an appearance on the FOX hit, according to The Daily Star. The entire cast of Glee is also set to return for season four, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Though all the graduating seniors will be back, it has yet to be revealed in how many episodes each will appear. However, it is confirmed that Lea Michele (Rachel), Cory Monteith (Finn), and Chris Colfer (Kurt) will all return as series regulars. Chord Overstreet (Sam) is also in talks to rejoin the show as a series regular (last year he returned as a reoccurring character). The fourth season of the FOX hit will feature a show-within-a-show concept, splitting time between McKinley High and New York, where Rachel and Kurt (Michele and Colfer) are following their show biz dreams.
U.K. pop star Cheryl Cole will appear in at least one episode, however no announcement has been made as to who Cole will play. Cole is a former member of the group Girls Aloud and rose to international prominence as a judge on the U.K. series The X Factor. She recently appeared as herself in the film What to Expect When You’re Expecting, co-starring Glee’s Matthew Morrison.
In addition to Michele, Monteith, Colfer, Glee graduated co-stars Amber Riley (Mercedes), Mark Salling (Puck), Harry Shum Jr. (Mike), Naya Rivera (Santana) and Dianna Agron (Quinn) at the end of last season. No word yet in what capacity these characters will return. Also set to return are Darren Criss, Jane Lynch, Jayma Mays, Kevin McHale, Jenna Ushkowitz, Heather Morris and Morrison. No decision has been made on the fate of Glee Project winners Damian McGinty and Samuel Larsen.
Glee returns to FOX beginning September 13.
