It's Love and War as the New Musical Dogfight Opens Off-Broadway

Off-Broadway’s Second Stage Theater had a lot to celebrate on July 17, when the brand new musical Dogfight celebrated its opening night! Lindsay Mendez and Derek Klena head the cast of this early '60s love story, she as an idealistic and awkward young woman caught in a cruel game posed by a group of Marines the night before they ship out for Vietnam. After the opening night bows were taken, show creators Benj Pasek, Justin Paul and Peter Duchan were joined by their Tony-winning director Joe Mantello and their entire company to celebrate at nearby HB Burger.
