Princes and witches and giants, oh my! Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine’s not-so-happily-ever-after fairy tale musical, Into the Woods, is playing in Central Park, and Broadway.com resident artist Justin ‘Squigs’ Robertson headed to the great outdoors of the Delacorte Theatre to see the starry revival. Just as the show weaves together many interlocking stories, Squigs swirls together Donna Murphy as the Witch, Denis O’Hare and Amy Adams as the Baker and his wife, Jessie Mueller as Cinderella and Gideon Glick as Jack, along with Sarah Stiles as Little Red Ridinghood, Chip Zien as the Mysterious Man, Jack Broderick as the young narrator, Tess Soltau as Rapunzel, Ivan Hernandez and Paris Remillard as the Princes, Kristine Zbornik as Jack’s Mother, Josh Lamon as the Prince’s Steward, and Ellen Harvey, Jennifer Rias and Bethany Moore as Cinderella’s stepmother and stepsisters. Head into the woods of Central Park to see this Shakespeare in the Park production for yourself!
