Alicia Silverstone has joined the cast of David West Read's upcoming Broadway porn comedy The Performers. Directed by Evan Cabnet, the play begins performances October 23 at the Longacre Theatre with opening night set for November 14. As previously announced, the cast also features Cheyenne Jackson, Henry Winkler, Ari Graynor, Daniel Breaker and Jenni Barber.
The Performers is a romantic comedy about two high school friends (Jackson and Breaker) and the women in their lives (Graynor and Silverstone, respectively) who reconnect at the Adult Film Awards in Las Vegas. Sex, love and Barry Manilow intersect in this comedy about the ups and downs and ins and outs of love.
