Kelli O'Hara, Paulo Szot and Aaron Lazar will perform alongside the New York Pops in Some Enchanted Evening: The Music of Rodgers and Hammersteins. The concert celebration of the famed composers' work is scheduled for October 12 at the Stern Auditorium in Carnegie Hall. The concert will feature tunes from classic shows such as Oklahoma!, Carousel, South Pacific, The King and I and The Sound of Music.
O'Hara received a Tony nomination for the 2008 revival of South Pacific and additional nods for The Light in the Piazza, The Pajama Game and Nice Work If You Can Get It. Szot earned a Tony Award for South Pacific. Lazar's Broadway credits include A Little Night Music, A Tale of Two Cities, Impressionism, Les Miserables, The Light in the Piazza and The Phantom of the Opera. He currently stars in Mamma Mia!
The fall season at Carnegie Hall will also include concerts from Tony winners Barbara Cook (October 18) and Idina Menzel (October 29).
