One thing you can always say about two-time Tony winner Patti LuPone: she loves her fans. Lupone, who returns to Broadway this fall in David Mamet’s new play The Anarchist, traveled downtown on September 6 to check out the new solo show Patti Issues at the Duplex. Written and performed by Ben Rimalower, the autobiographical show explores Rimalower’s turbulent childhood and the solace he found in following LuPone's career. The Patti-centric show continues at the Duplex through November 1, so all you Patti fans can get your fix between Ms. LuPone’s 54 Below gig and her Broadway return.
