Nick Adams (Priscilla Queen of the Desert), Tituss Burgess (The Little Mermaid), Daisy Eagan (The Secret Garden) and more will sing songs made famous by Barbra Streisand at the one-night-only benefit concert Hello Gorgeous! A Salute to the Streisand Songbook. The event, which benefits Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, is scheduled for October 12 at the Kaye Playhouse at Hunter College.
The night will also include performances from Lorna Luft (Extremities), Anne Hampton Callaway (Swing!), Von Smith (TV's Opening Act), Saycon Sengbloh (Fela!), Marty Thomas (Xanadu), Erin Quill (Avenue Q), Natalie Toro (A Tale of Two Cities), Kristy Cates (Wicked), Natalie Joy Johnson (Legally Blonde), Jim Caruso (Birdland's Cast Party), Steven Brinberg (Simply Streisand) and recording artist Kelly King. Scott Nevins (TV's The World's Dumbest) will serve as host, with Brad Gardner working as music director.
The event celebrates Streisand's return to New York as she is scheduled to play concert engagements in Brooklyn on October 11 and 13.
