David Strathairn is a few short weeks away from his return to Broadway in The Heiress, where he’ll transform into a dignified 19th-century doctor. This fall audiences can also catch the Oscar nominee as real-life Secretary of State William H. Seward in Steven Spielberg’s anxiously awaited new film Lincoln. Strathairn stars as Lincoln’s brave confidante alongside Broadway alums Tommy Lee Jones, Sally Field, Adam Driver and Julie White (who recently chatted with Broadway.com about the film).
