Tony winner Betty Buckley will return to Feinstein's at Loews Regency with her new concert The Other Woman: The Vixens of Broadway. The engagment is scheduled to run October 2-27. The Other Woman will feature tunes from Broadway shows sung by second female lead characters.
Songs featured in the concert include "When You're Good to Mama" from Chicago, "Another Suitcase in Another Hall" from Evita, "I Know Things Now" from Into the Woods, "Ribbons Down My Back" from Hello, Dolly!, "Whatever Lola Wants" from Damn Yankees and "The Miller's Son" from A Little Night Music. The show will also feature a segment from Ah! Men, her last engagement at Feinstein's in which she performed showtunes traditionally sung by men.
Buckley won a Tony Award for Cats, and earned a nomination for Triumph of Love. Her additional Broadway credits include Sunset Boulevard, Carrie, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Song and Dance, Pippin and 1776. She will star in a British production of Dear World in early 2013.
Buckley will be joined by Christian Jacob on piano, Tony Marino on bass, Vic Juris on guitar and Todd Isler on drums.
Feinstein's final fall season at Loews Regency will also include concerts from Tamara Tunie, Jarrod Spector, Tommy Tune, Michael Feinstein & Marily Maye, Blue Sky Riders, Linda Purl and more.
