If There Is I Haven’t Found It Yet Opens Off-Broadway, Starring Jake Gyllenhaal

Nick Payne’s dark comedy If There Is I Haven’t Found It Yet, starring Academy Award nominee Jake Gyllenhaal and Annie Funke, opens September 20 at off-Broadway’s Laura Pels Theatre. Directed by Michael Longhurst, the Roundabout Theatre Company production will play a limited engagement through November 25.

In addition to Gyllenhaal as Terry and Funke as Anna, If There Is... stars Brian F. O’Bryne as George and Michelle Gomez as Fiona. The production tells the story of Anna (Funke), a 15-year-old who is bullied at school because of her weight. Her parents are too distracted with their own lives to help Anna—but when her dysfunctional Uncle Terry comes for a visit, the two create an unlikely bond.
