Annie's lovable orphans are coming to TV! Channel THIRTEEN, the flagship PBS station in New York, will produce It's the Hard-Knock Life: From Script to Stage, a primetime special following the development of the musical's production number “Hard Knock Life.” The program will follow the creative process from the earliest phases through the show's opening night. The documentary will air at a yet to be announced date in 2013.
Annie begins performances at Broadway’s Palace Theatre on October 3, with opening night set for November 8. Directed by James Lapine, the revival stars Lilla Crawford as Annie, Katie Finneran as Miss Hannigan, Anthony Warlow as Daddy Warbucks, Brynn O'Malley as Grace Farrell, Clarke Thorell as Rooster Hannigan, J. Elaine Marcos as Lily St. Regis. The young actresses playing the oprhans are Emily Rosenfeld as Molly, Tyrah Skye Odoms as Kate, Junah Jang as Tessie, Georgi James as Pepper, Madi Rae DiPietro as July andTaylor Richardson as Duffy.
