Looks like McKinley High may need to change its name to Rydell as Glee prepares to cover the songs of the classic musical Grease. The hit FOX series will dedicate its November 15 episode to the iconic tuner, with a compilation album of the episode's music to hit stores November 6.
Glee: The Music Presents Glease will feature the cast covering Grease’s “Hopelessly Devoted To You,” “Born to Hand Jive,” “Grease Lightning,” “Beauty School Drop Out,” “Look At Me I’m Sandra Dee,” “There Are Worse Things I Can Do,” “You’re The One That I Want” and, of course, “Summer Nights.”
No word yet on the complete line-up of Pink Ladies and T-Birds, but series creator Ryan Murphy tweeted that new girl Marley (Melissa Benoist) will play Sandy.
Get in the Grease mode by watching Chord Overstreet and Amber Riley channel Danny and Sandy with "Summer Nights" from Glee's third season.
