Take the incredible journey from animal shelter to Broadway stage in the new NBC documentary Annie’s Search for Sandy. The 30-minute TV special, produced and hosted by Al Roker, will follow Tony-winning animal trainer Bill Berloni as he seeks out a shelter dog to play Sandy in the upcoming Broadway revival of Annie. In the trailer below, Berloni and Annie director James Lapine narrow down possible pups to find Annie’s official Sandy. Annie’s Search for Sandy airs on NBC on October 27 and 28.
