In anticipation of this weekend's Hurricane Sandy weather warning, performances of all Broadway and off-Broadway shows have been canceled for Tuesday, October 30.
"Now that the storm has arrived, I'd like to reiterate that the safety and security of theatregoers and employees is everyone's primary concern," Charlotte St. Martin, executive director of the Broadway League said in a statement. "As a result of the suspension of public transportation by government authorities and other safety precautions implemented on behalf of Hurricane Sandy, evening performances will be cancelled tomorrow night, Tuesday, October 30. We expect normal operations to resume Wednesday morning."
Ticketholders who purchased tickets for canceled shows on Broadway.com or by calling 1-800-BROADWAY will be refunded.
