NBC's Broadway-themed series Smash will begin its second season on February 5, 2013, according to TVLine.com. This season the show will air on Tuesday nights, with the season premiere scheduled to run two hours long.
In addition to series regulars Megan Hilty, Christian Borle, Debra Messing and Katharine McPhee, the musical series welcomes a slew of new stars for season two including Jeremy Jordan, Jennifer Hudson, Sean Hayes, Daphne Rubin-Vega, Jesse L. Martin, Nikki Blonsky, Andy Mientus, Krysta Rodriguez and Daniel Sunjata.
The second season of Smash is expected to stray from the Marilyn Monroe musical featured in the first season and follow the creation of a musical adaptation of Les Liasons Dangereuses.
Need to catch up before season two starts? Smash's first season will be available on DVD on January 8.
