Dominic Cooke is to set direct Bruce Norris’s new work, The Low Road, as part of his final season as artistic director of the Royal Court Theatre in London. The production will run in the Jerwood Theatre Downstairs from March 21, 2013 to April 27. Opening night is planned for March 27.
Polly Stenham's No Quarter will kick off the season at the Jerwood Theatre Upstairs from January 11 to February 9, directed by Royal Court associate director Jeremy Herrin. Opening night is set for January 16. The production's design is by Tom Scutt, with lighting by Philip Gladwell and sound by Fergus O’Hare.
Anders Lustgarten’s If You Don’t Let Us Dream, We Won’t Let You Sleep will then run at the Jerwood Theatre Downstairs as part of the Royal Court’s Jerwood New Playwrights scheme. Directed by Simon Godwin, the show will hold performances February 15 to March 9, with opening night scheduled for February 20.
Anna Wakulik’s new play A Time To Reap, translated from Polish by Catherine Grosvenor, will play the Jerwood Theatre Upstairs from February 22 to March 23. The production, which officialy opens February 27, is directed by Caroline Steinbeis, and will feature design by Max Jones and lighting by Anna Watson.
The season will close with a currently untitled new play from Anthony Neilson. Directed by Neilson as well, the play will run at the Jerwood Theatre Upstairs from April 5 to May 4. Opening night is set for April 10.
