Kylie Minogue to Rock Out to '80s Hits in Jukebox Movie Musical Walking on Sunshine

Recording artist Kylie Minogue and actress Gemma Arterton (Prince of Persia) will tease out their hair and pull up their leg warmers for Walking on Sunshine, a new 3D movie-musical set in the 1980s, reports The Hollywood Reporter.

Walking on Sunshine follows two sisters, Amanda and Taylor, as they convene in a coastal village in present-day Spain. Amanda is about to marry the gorgeous Raf, however the groom has a romantic history with Taylor.

The musical will include popular songs from the ‘80s and will be directed by Max Giwa and Dania Pasquini, who helmed the popular British hits StreetDance 3D and StreetDance 2.

Minogue can currently be seen in the French fantasy Holy Motors, and previously appeared as the Green Fairy in Moulin Rouge!. Arterton appeared in 2008’s James Bond flick Quantom of Solace and will also star opposite Jeremy Renner in the upcoming action thriller, Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters.
