Dancer Tim Federle to Release Broadway-Themed Coming-of-Age Novel Better Nate Than Ever

Broadway dancer Tim Federle will channel his musical theater memories into a new stage-themed coming-of-age novel Better Nate Than Ever, which will be available in stores on February 5, 2013.

Better Nate Than Ever is inspired partly by Federle’s own experiences on and off the stage. The novel follows Nate Foster, an eighth grader who hops a bus from his small town in Pennsylvania to crash an open call audition for E.T.: The Musical. With the help of his best friend Libby, Nate’s journey takes him to the bright lights of New York City, where he learns the difference between small-town blues and big-time stardom.

Federle's Broadway credits include Billy Elliot, Gypsy, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and The Little Mermaid. The actor also recently sold two other books: a picture book, Tommy Can't Stop, and a non-fiction book, Tequila Mockingbird: Cocktails with a Literary Twist.
