Emotional Creature, the latest work from Tony winner Eve Ensler (The Vagina Monologues), explores what it is to be a girl—all the joys and thrills, the rites of passage, the growing pains, and the unique pressures—through a series of monologues, stories and songs. The play spans different cultures and continents, highlighting the diversity and commonality of the issues girls face across the world. Directed by Jo Bonney, with original music by Charl-Johan Lingenfelder and a talented ensemble, the off-Broadway production opens on November 12 at the Romulus Linney Courtyard Theatre in the Pershing Square Signature Center.
