Fran Kranz to Lead New Film The Truth About Lies

Fran Kranz will star opposite Odette Annable in the new film The Truth About Lies, according to Deadline.com. No production timeline has been announced yet for the film, which will be directed by Phil Allocco. 

The Truth About Lies follows Gilby (Kranz), an emotional but self-centered drifter who loses his job, gets dumped by his girlfriend and is forced to move in with his mom after a fire destroys his apartment. He then meets Rachel (Annable) a hot, young gold digger and their lives interwine.

Kranz made his Broadway debut as Bernard in Mike Nichol’s Tony-winning revival of Death of a Salesman. He has appeared off-Broadway in Bachelorette, and recently appeared in the slasher film The Cabin in the Woods. He previously had a recurring role as Topher Brink in the TV series Dollhouse.
