Santino Fontana (Cinderella), Caissie Levy (Ghost), Nick Blaemire (Godspell) and more Broadway stars will be on hand to sing showtunes and standards in the debut concert performance of Charlie Rosen’s Broadway Big Band. Rosen, who led The Craze, the onstage band in Broadway's One Man, Two Guvnors, will lead the November 19 show at the Laurie Beechman Theatre along with a 17-piece orchestra.
Fontana, Levy and Blaemire will be joined by Hannah Elless (The Other Josh Cohen), Andrew Kober (Hair), Alysha Umpress (American Idiot) and vocalist Monet Julia Sabel during the evening of big band arrangements and musical theater standards.
Charlie Rosen’s Broadway Big Band is the debut concert series for Rosen, who recently composed the score for the Roundabout revival of Cyrano de Bergerac. His other Broadway credits include Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson and 13.
