Fans of Pippin are already planning a trip of Cambridge, MA, next month, when director Diane Paulus will unveil her revival of Stephen Schwartz and Roger Hirson’s mystical musical at the American Repertory Theater. The Hair and Porgy and Bess helmer has attracted a starry cast, including Broadway couple Terrence Mann (King Charles) and Charlotte d’Amboise (Fastrada), Andrea Martin (Berte) and Tony nominee Patina Miller (Leading Player), with Spider-Man alum Matthew James Thomas in the title role. On November 14, Miller and Thomas gave A.R.T. supporters a preview of this hotly awaited production at a private event on NYC’s Upper East Side. Click through for exclusive photos of Thomas performing “Corner of the Sky,” Miller singing “Simple Joys” and more, then head to A.R.T. between December 5 and January 20, 2013, to see Pippin.
