The Lion King's Broadway Family Reunites at a 15th Birthday Party Fit for a King

The worldwide musical sensation The Lion King celebrated its 15th year on Broadway on November 18 with a special performance at the Minskoff Theatre and a swinging celebration at Gotham Hall. The musical officially opened on Broadway back on November 13, 1997, and has since spawned 21 productions in 98 cities in 16 countries around the world. To mark The Lion King’s landmark anniversary, the Actors Fund reassembled many members of the creative team as well as past performers and other members of The Lion King family.
