Better Nate Than Ever is a young adult novel that follows Nate Foster, a small-town teenager who runs away from home to crash an audition for E.T.: The Musical. With the help of his best friend Libby, Nate’s journey takes him to the bright lights of New York City, where he learns the difference between small-town blues and big-time stardom. The novel is inspired by Federle’s experience as an associate choreographer on Broadway's Billy Elliot.
Federle's Broadway credits include Billy Elliot, Gypsy, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and The Little Mermaid. The actor also recently sold two other books: a picture book, Tommy Can't Stop, and a non-fiction book, Tequila Mockingbird: Cocktails with a Literary Twist.
