Christmas is coming early for Tony-winning funnyman James Corden! The British actor will once again team up with One Man, Two Guvnors playwright Richard Bean for the forthcoming holiday movie School For Santas, according to Deadline.com. Filming will take place in New York in 2013. No additional casting has been announced.
In School for Santas, Corden will star as a down-on-his-luck father who searches for his inner Santa Claus in order to forge a relationship with his kids. Written by Bean, the forthcoming film will be developed by Working Title.
Corden earned a Tony Award for his portrayal of Francis Henshall in One Man, Two Guvnors after originating the role in London. He also appeared in The History Boys on Broadway and in the West End. Corden’s film and TV credits include The Three Musketeers, Gulliver’s Travels, The Gruffalo, Gavin & Stacey and Horne & Corden.
