The upcoming Hurricane Sandy relief concert City of Hope: Broadway Blows Back has been rescheduled for December 10 at the Gerswhin Theatre. The concert was orignially scheduled for November 26. The producing team changed the event date in the interest of adding more acts to the line-up and maximizing the total donation for Hurricane Sandy victims.
The concert will feature appearances by Patrick Wilson, David Hyde Pierce, Julia Murney, Jessie Mueller, Christopher Sieber, Elizabeth Stanley, Ashley Brown, Robert Creighton, Max Crumm, Eden Espinosa, Julie Halston, Dee Hoty, Natalie Joy Johnson, Raymond J. Lee, Carrie Manolakos and Christiane Noll. Joe Ricci and James Lowe will direct.
The evening will benefit New York and New Jersey communities affected by the October storm. Fifty percent of the proceeds will be donated to the Mayor’s Fund to Advance New York City, while the other half will go to relief efforts conducted by the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
