The movie event of the holiday season, the big screen adaptation of Les Misérables, is nearly upon us. During filming, director Tom Hooper had Tony winners Hugh Jackman and Eddie Redmayne, screen stars Anne Hathaway and Russell Crowe and more perform the Tony-winning score live, rather than using pre-recorded vocals. While Les Miz is truly an epic piece, some of the most moving moments come from intimate and contemplative solo songs like “Stars” and “Empty Chairs at Empty Tables.” Fans have already been treated to early glimpses of other solos like “On My Own” and “I Dreamed a Dream,” and come December 25, theatergoers can experience these numbers and more in their full glory! Thinking of all these fantastic show tunes leads us to the big question: Which solo performance are you most excited to hear in the Les Misérables movie? Vote below!
