Super-Sized Les Misérables to Play IMAX Screens in Select Cities

Not only will you hear the people sing, but you’ll see them, too—in massive IMAX size! The mega-sized screen exhibitor will release the upcoming movie musical Les Misérables on its IMAX screens in New York and Los Angeles when the film debuts in theaters on Christmas Day.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, audiences in New York, Los Angeles, Toronto and Montreal will be the lucky few to see Hugh Jackman get dirty and Anne Hathaway get the world’s worst haircut on some of the world’s biggest movie screens.

Don’t live in one of those cities? Intenational fans can see Javert get Javertical when IMAX screenings roll out starting on January 10 in the Netherlands, followed by releases in Mexico, Croatia, Russia, the U.K., Israel, France, Poland, Italy and Brazil.
