Kurt’s love life is about to take a major left turn. Deadline reports that Glee has added English actor Oliver Kieran-Jones to play the leader of the glee club at NYADA, the dramatic academy Kurt (Chris Colfer) found himself accepted into at the end of the most recent episode.
Naturally, Kurt will show some interest in joining the fancy NYADA glee club, and Kieran-Jones’ recurring character will become something of a love interest for the recently-single Kurt. Does this mean the end of Klaine!?
Kieran-Jones is a relative unknown whose only major credit is on Showtime’s Episodes, but it’s safe to bet that the overseas export has some exceptional vocal cords. The actor also has some U.K .stage credits to his name, appearing opposite Kevin Spacey in Richard II and Ralph Fiennes in Julius Caesar.
Kieran-Jones’ as-yet-unnamed character will make his first appearance in January, with the potential to become a series regular on the show’s fifth season.
