1. The Cast Singing “One Day More” – 36%
Any theater fan knows that big musicals need a killer Act I finale, and for the stage production of Les Misérables that song is “One Day More.” Though, there is no intermission in the movie, the song is sure to remain just as epic and breathtaking as it is on stage. In “One Day More,” all the musical's leads come together to sing about their uncertain futures and hopes for a new day. The soaring anthem will prominently feature Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Eddie Redmayne, Aaron Tveit, Amanda Seyfried, Samantha Barks, Sacha Baron Cohen and Helena Bonham Carter. Too bad we have to wait one week more to hear “One Day More!”
2. Sacha Baron Cohen and Helena Bonham Carter Singing “Master of the House” – 19%
Les Misérables may not have the most smile-inducing title, but even poor street people need some comic relief. Sidesplitting Sweeney Todd actors Sacha Baron Cohen and Helena Bonham Carter reunite to play the mischievous yet hilarious Thénardiers in Les Miz. The two colorful clowns are introduced in the bawdy number “Master of the House,” in which audiences learn just how low the inn-keepers can sink. Everybody raise a glass to that!
3. Eddie Redmayne and Samantha Barks singing “A Little Fall of Rain” - 17%
Acclaimed West End actors Eddie Redmayne and Samantha Barks duet on the beautiful and devastating tune “A Little Fall of Rain.” Barks’ character Eponine is madly in love with Redmayne’s Marius, but he has fallen for another girl. In “A Little Fall of Rain,” Eponine finally gets her long-awaited moment in Marius’ arms. Bring your tissues for this one, folks.
