Pint-sized powerhouse Carly Rose Sonenclar came in second place to country singer Tate Stevens on The X Factor’s December 20 season finale. Sonenclar, who consistently gave jaw-dropping performances all season long, impressed the judges on December 19 with soulful renditions of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah,” “How Do I Live,” (a duet with LeAnn Rimes), and an encore of her first stunning performance on the reality competition series, “Feeling Good” by Nina Simone.
The finale marked another night of stunning performances for Sonenclar. After cheering up the judges with a lighthearted version of “All I Want For Christmas,” Sonenclar sang Miley Cyrus' "The Climb" in a touching duet with Stevens, her competitor. Although Stevens ultimately took home the $5 million recording contract, the Wonderland and Les Misérables alum is still number one in our book. We can’t wait to see you back on Broadway soon, Carly!
