Tony nominees Jeremy Jordan and Jonathan Groff, Cheyenne Jackson and more are among the stars slated to perform at Miscast 2013, MCC’s annual gala featuring actors performing songs from roles in which they would never be cast. Victor Garber will host the one-night-only extravaganza at the Hammerstein Ballroom on March 4, which will honor Tony winner Judith Light (Other Desert Cities).
In addition to Jordan, Groff and Jackson, the evening will include performances by Tony winners Christian Borle (Peter and the Starcatcher, TV's Smash), Jane Krakowski (Nine, TV's 30 Rock) and LaChanze (The Color Purple), as well as Megan Hilty (9 to 5, TV's Smash), Marin Mazzie (Ragtime, Carrie), Jesse L. Martin (Rent), Nicole Parker (Wicked), Jason Danieley (Next to Normal) and Patrick Wilson (The Full Monty).
Proceeds from the gala support the producing efforts of MCC Theater as well as its Youth Company and partnerships with New York City public high schools.
