Famed comedian and impressionist Rich Little plans to bring his one-man show Jimmy Stewart & Friends to Broadway, according to the New York Times. Rich (also known as "The Man of a Thousand Voices") is currently presenting the show at the LVH - Las Vegas Hotel & Casino. No potential timeline for the transfer or theater has been announced at this time.
Jimmy Stewart & Friends tells the story of Hollywood icon Jimmy Stewart's life and career through the use of more than 30 of Little's celebrity impressions, including Cary Grant, George Burns, Ronald Reagan, Katharine Hepburn, John Wayne, Dr. Phil and more.
Little has been entertaining audiences with his impersonations since the 1960s. He rose to fame as a regular on The Judy Garland Show, and made numerous appearances on variety programs like The Ed Sullivan Show, The Tonight Show, The Dean Martin Celebrity Roasts and The Julie Andrews Hour. He is also known for his impressions of U.S. Presidents including John F. Kennedy, Richard Nixon and Bill Clinton.
