Get ready, U.K. theater fans: Kristin Chenoweth is headed to London, Manchester, Edinburgh and Cardiff for a whirlwind concert tour. The Tony winner has booked four dates in a week of performances beginning at the London Coliseum on March 11. The evening will be directed by Richard Jay-Alexander, with musical direction by Rob Fisher.
Chenoweth will perform a mix of material from musical theater, pop and opera, including songs from her Broadway shows (Wicked, Promises, Promises, You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown, The Apple Tree) and solo albums. She will be joined on stage by Tyler Hanes (who is choreographing the show), Will Taylor and Jennifer Diamond. According to the press release, the show will feature “costumes from Ms. Chenoweth’s closet! Yes, you read that correctly.”
After kicking off her tour in London, Chenoweth will give concerts at the Manchester Opera House (March 13), Scotland’s Edinburgh Festival Theatre (March 15) and the Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff Bay (March 17).
