Uh oh...a former Broadway porn star is about to be in charge of educating America's youth! The Performers' Ari Graynor will play the lead in the new CBS pilot Bad Teacher, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Graynor will join a cast that also includes Tony nominee David Alan Grier as the school's well-meaning but clueless principal.
Bad Teacher is a single-camera comedy series based on the 2011 movie starring Cameron Diaz, Justin Timberlake and Jason Segel. The CBS pilot is penned by Hilary Winston (Happy Endings, Community) and follows a sexy, foul-mouth divorcee who finds herself teaching in order to catch her next husband.
Graynor most recently starred as Peeps in Broadway's The Performers. Her other Broadway credits include Relatively Speaking, The Little Dog Laughed and Brooklyn Boy. Graynor appeared off-Broadway in Trust and God Sees Dog. Her TV and film credits include The Guilt Trip, Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist, Celeste & Jesse Forever, Fringe and The Sopranos.
Between those skimpy Performers porn costumes and all that dirty talk in her recent phone sex comedy For a Good Time Call..., Graynor should have no trouble with a sexy car wash scene. Check out Cameron Diaz lather up some cars for charity in the Bad Teacher movie below!
