Jane Lynch will soon be TV’s hostess with the mostess! Annie's future Miss Hannigan has signed on to host the new NBC game show Hollywood Game Night, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Produced by Lynch’s Tony-nominated Three Stooges co-star Sean Hayes and Todd Milliner, Hollywood Game Night will be a one-hour series featuring celebrities from the worlds of TV, film, sports and politics playing party games with non-celebrity contestants in a “cocktail party atmosphere.” The series received an eight-episode order from NBC.
Lynch won Emmy and Golden Globe awards for her role as Glee’s no-filter cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester. Her countless film credits include The 40 Year Old Virgin, Wreck-It Ralph, Julie & Julia, For Your Consideration, Role Models, A Mighty Wind and Best in Show. She begins her limited eight-week engagement as Miss Hannigan in Broadway’s Annie on May 16.
