Our "evening prayers" have been answered! Tony winner Betty Buckley and West End favorite Linzi Hateley were reunited on February 27 when Hateley went to see Buckley in the London revival of Jerry Herman's Dear World. The talented twosome, who starred together in the notorious original Broadway production of Carrie, look heavenly in this Hot Shot posted online by Buckley herself. Hateley made her debut in the 1988 musical as the titular shy teenage girl with telekinetic powers, and Buckley starred as Margaret White, Carrie's religiously devout mother who is convinced she must save her daughter from damnation. Not even fire and brimstone, could keep fans (and us!) from genuflecting over this photo of the lovely twosome. Let's all pray that it won't take a miracle to see Hateley, who's currently playing Madame Thenardier in the London production of Les Miserables, and Buckley return to Great White Way soon!
