Tony nominee Arian Moayed signed a deal to play a hit woman's right-hand-man in the NBC pilot Believe, according to Deadline.com.
Believe is a new drama series from J.J. Abrams and Alfonso Cuaron. The NBC project is penned by Cuaron and Mark Friedman and is about the unlikely relationship between Bo (Johnny Sequoyah), a girl in possession of great powers and Tate (Jake McLaughlin), the man sprung from prison to protect her from those trying to hunt her down. Moayed will play Corey, the accomplice of hit woman Moore (Sienna Guillory).
Moayed earned a Tony nod for his Broadway debut as Musa in Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo. His off-Broadway credits include King Lear, Queens Boulevard, The American Pilot and The Persians. Moayed's TV and film credits include The Following, White Collar, Roadie and Law & Order.
