Good news for Smash! The March 12 episode of NBC’s musical dramedy scored a slight ratings bump after posting several weeks of less-than-smashing numbers, reports TVLine.
The episode (titled “The Fringe”) pulled in an audience of 2.9 million viewers and a 0.9 rating in the 18-49 demo, marking a slight uptick from last week’s series low of 2.6 million and a 0.7 rating.
The show has been notoriously struggling since coming out of the gate in early February. The season premiere earned 4.5 million viewers, and the next episode had 3.3 million. However, considering that NBC has invested so much into the series—and that the Peacock already has the entire season in the can—it’s likely the show’s remaining episodes will still find their way to air.
